XXXIV - Correspondence about my situation

I am homeless, and sometimes I do hypnosis videos to compensate for sleep lag, stress, etc
It seems some guys around me (as I am a blogger, I am very well known) are worried about this.

I believe in lots of stuff unfashionable these days. I am a Geocentric, I believe angels move (not "push", but move) planets and stars, including Sun and Moon in non-daily orbits and ways, while the daily round is God moving the aether around Earth, I believe in fix stars being one light day up (no 13 billion light years away) and therefore smaller than believed by astro-physicists, and obviously no option for life evolving elsewhere before on Earth. I believe all the heavenly bodies were created on day IV 5199 BC, and I believe Christ founded the Roman Catholic Church, not a Protestant one.

These guys seem to think I can only keep these beliefs up by being hypnitised by people, they want to deliver me from the sect that is keeping me down, and so, often they actually disturb silence, connection, relative loneliness when I am taking a hypno session in a cyber or a library.

They think they are saving me from a sect using hypnosis to make me believe "weird things".

Now, your hypno videos I just passed by some year ago, I also do katherine anne, Alicia Fairclough, some Stephanie Dillon (text, I don't really like the sound of weird distorted voice*).

I stopped doing "the one lilium" (a Danish asmr) over one of her sessions involving the subject discovering he's walking on the water ... "wait a minute, I'm neither Jesus nor St Peter and this is not Genesareth".

I discard some of Alicia's when it comes to forgetting name, being enchanted by Ice Queen, forgetting number 7, floating outside the body. When those things come up, I snap out of it.

Dito with "slave hypnosis".

So, as you are a somewhat expert on hypnosis, and probably also a very qualified and certified one, a person who people are going to and getting your bills paid by insurances, and so (like when they stop smoking) and as you probably do not believe very many of the things I just enumerated, would you assess that they are right on their risk assessment, I believe "weird things" because the videos I watch include subtle suggestions for those particular points of view, or would you consider they are:

  • 1) somewhat hysteric (if I assess the intentionality of disturbances correctly)
  • 2) and simply wrong on what is happening with me?

Hi Hans-Georg,
I don't believe that there is something "wrong" with anyone. It is simply a question of how you are showing up in your life and are you functioning to the degree that is appropriate for you. Judgments of being "hysterical" are relevant to each person differenently so I am not qualified to determine any of this. These are questions that need to be answered by you as it pertains to you functioning in your life. I use hypnosis to help people show up in more beneficial ways once they determine that something is no longer working for them. Hope this helps. Take care.

Yours Kindly,

  • 1) I am homeless, this means I have to deal with some sleeplag after nights when I was thrown out from where I was sleeping, and there are other reasons (like having too little sleep need when waking up after a meal towards the evening);
  • 2) It also means, some people are not totally congenial to me and some situations remind of things that stress me, like psychiatry and being locked up;
  • 3) so, dealing with sleep lag and stress, like by relaxation or power nap videos, would it seem not too inappropriate?
  • 4) AND, if I use the videos of Alicia Fairclough, or katherine anne 83 or Stephanie Dillon and someone worried I was hypnotised into a sect, would you consider their worry realistic?

I think using hypnosis to feel better and for your well being is perfectly fine. Many people do the same thing. As far as the names you mentioned, I am not familiar with them and therefore cannot comment on anything about that. I can't really comment on the last part of the question because I have no way of knowing if this worry has any merit. Generally speaking I believe that you cannot be hypnotized against your will. Hope this helps.

"I think using hypnosis to feel better and for your well being is perfectly fine. Many people do the same thing."

Thank you.

"As far as the names you mentioned, I am not familiar with them and therefore cannot comment on anything about that."

Well, you could check them out on their youtubes.

Stephanie Dillon (with her text hypnosis it is safest to take her, as I am not closing eyes and so not show I'm being hypnotosed to whatever cyber owner etc could be worried):
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC1IrC9RPr0vc5B7TFHk7jUA

katherine anne 83 (a disciple of Cerbone, I think, if that name is familiar):
https://www.youtube.com/user/katherineanne83

Alicia Fairclough
https://www.youtube.com/user/MyOnlineHypno

To make it very simple : on her video about Past Life Regressions (she's not providing videos for them, she said she had one such session once), she says she is atheist and ... well, the kind of cult that would be (on the worries of certain people) abusing hypnosis against me would be more into Young Earth Creationism, Geocentrism, Rad Trad Catholicism ...

* This is not the case with all of her voice videos.
